Floor plans are the quintescential tool of the architect. While no longer actual blue prints, people still refer to them as such. Showing as much information as necessary without confusing the reader is the largest challenge.

Details are closer looks at the various connections of any project. With every different construction type and project design a completely unique set of details are required.

Elevations are informative in relaying floor heights, roof types, and other material specifications. They may be very basic or fairly detailed. Elevations easily transgress the boundary from tool to art piece with enough care.
